Ageism

There are lots of great references on Office of the Seniors Advocate website.

The Office of the Seniors Advocate monitors and analyzes seniors services and issues in BC. The Office provides information and referrals for individuals who are navigating seniors services and tracks their concerns.

The Office has an information line that is available 24 hours a day, every day. Our senior service specialists will work with you during our office hours to provide resources and help resolve issues.

The BC Seniors’ Guide is a book of information and resources to help us all plan for a healthy lifestyle as we age. It includes information on provincial and federal programs, with sections on benefits, health, lifestyle, housing, transportation, finances, safety and security, and other services. The guide is available in English, French, Chinese, Punjabi, Vietnamese, Korean, Farsi, Tagalog and Hindi.
