The Ice Arena and Seniors’ Activity Centre on the Community Centre site are aging and will need to be replaced. Enhance West Van has been working closely with the community since 2013 to develop a plan for replacing these facilities.
Replacing these facilities is an important opportunity to create a vibrant hub that continues to meet the recreational, cultural and social needs of the community.
Based on significant community input received to date, the Society has developed an Emerging Vision for the Community Centre site.
The Emerging Vision is a 20-year plan describing a proposed approach to replacing the aging site facilities in a seamless way, minimizing disruption to the major services provided to the community.
The Society is committed to ensuring the Emerging Vision continues to reflect community needs and interests for the civic site.
