Enhance West Van is inviting Gleneagles user groups and community members to share their thoughts on potential Enhance West Van support at Gleneagles Community Centre.
This process is exploring interest in Gleneagles being supported by Enhance West Van, and whether this would be a good fit for the community. No decisions have been made.

Enhance West Van’s role
Enhance West Van is a charitable society that works in partnership with the District of West Vancouver to support programs, services, amenities, and community experiences at the:
- West Vancouver Community Centre
- Aquatic Centre
- Ice Arena
Enhance West Van strengthens these facilities through fundraising, advocacy, community engagement, and support for improvements that benefit the community.
What support at Gleneagles could look like
If this were to move forward in the future, Enhance West Van could help support priorities identified by the Gleneagles users and community that are not covered by the District’s operating budget, such as equipment, program enhancements, community-focused improvements, and advocacy for future needs.
What would stay the same
Enhance West Van is not a facility operator. It would not hire or manage staff, oversee daily operations, set schedules, or determine District maintenance, budgeting, or staffing.
These responsibilities would remain with the District of West Vancouver.
Membership
If this idea were to move forward in the future, the same Enhance West Van annual membership model currently used at other supported facilities would also apply at Gleneagles. The current annual membership fee is $10.85 for an individual and $16.35 for a family.
This membership would also include access to facilities at the West Vancouver Community Centre site.
